ALEX ABABIO, EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR/PRESIDENT
Alex Ababio has 10 years experience in business, research, teaching and advocacy on governance and social justice, and more than 15 years experience as a journalist, working variously as a reporter, editor, Correspondent, columnist, talk show host, socio-political commentator and Newspaper publisher. He is human right journalist and social justice entrepreneur who has a passion for equipping the poor with life skills to live meaningful life.
He is currently the Managing Editor of Ghanaian Watch Newspaper and Ghanaian Watch Online and Executive Director/President and founder of African Liberators Economic Institute , and served as the Director of Policy & Planning at Amass Ghana.
He has a vision of developing agents of change in social entrepreneurship to support poor communities throughout Ghana and Africa to promote sustainable development.
Alex has earned a Graduate Diploma in Management Studies from ICM; England .He has also studied for Diploma in Commerce with University of Cape Coast in Ghana.
He holds diploma in Newspaper Reporting from ICM, England, Media and Information Literacy and Intercultural Dialogue Athabasca University. He is a fellow of Thomson Reuters Foundation on Media training on General News Reporting .He has obtained TESOL Certificate, Part 1 from Arizon State University.
